… and broke rocks in pieces before the Lord. But the Lord was not in the wind. And after the wind, an earthquake. But the Lord was not in the earthquake. And after the earthquake, a fire. but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire, a still small voice. So it was when Elijah heard it that he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave because he was hiding from Jezebel, remember? The great man of God. He's terrified because a woman was going to kill him. He stood in the entrance of the cave and suddenly a voice came. well what do we know about the voice? It's still and it's small. Doesn't sound like fire, doesn't sound like the wind, the voice doesn't sound like an earthquake. It's a still small voice. A voice came to him and said, what are you doing here? And after the wind, an earthquake. but the Lord was not in the earthquake and after the earthquake a fire but the Lord was not in the fire and after the fire a voice a gentle whisper and it happened when Elijah heard it he covered his face in his cloak and he went out and he stood in the mouth of the cave and look a voice said to him What are you here for, Elijah? And he said, I have been very zealous for the Lord God Almighty because the children of Israel have rejected your covenant. Your altars, they have torn down. Your prophets, they have killed with the sword. And I am the only one left. and now they're trying to kill me too. And the Lord said to him, Go back the way you came, through the wilderness of Damascus and there anoint Hazael to be king over Syria and anoint Yehu son of Nimshi to be king over Israel and anoint Elijah son of Shaphat to be prophet in your place. …

Same Lies New Loops

… the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord wasn't in the wind. and the wind came, and then after the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. The Lord came in all of those ways in Moses' time, but he's coming a different way to Elijah. Can you let God come to you a different way and not think that he left you? I feel this thing going deep. If y'all have a lunch appointment, please feel free to leave, but I'm going to finish this message for the hundred people who need to hear it today who have been on the loop. After the fire came a gentle whisper. I've done whole messages where I wish… whisper for ten minutes to talk to you about how, when the Enemy is lying to you, he's loud because he can't get to you. When God tells the truth to you, he whispers because he's close. …
