… The text lets us know what is it? verse 5 when Jesus has told him, I need you to let down your nets for a catch. And Peter says, Master, we toiled all night long and didn't catch a thing. Etymologically, I unpacked the word toil. Literally, it means that you are at the end. It means that you are empty. It means that you have worked hard and come up empty. It also has to do with being overwhelmed and overburdened with grief. Y'all not getting this. You have so much weighing down on you. You feel like you can't go on. Master, we have toiled. We are worn out. And then don't forget that they had toiled, but they called nothing, meaning for all of their work, they had come up empty. I'm preaching y'all just not getting this. Watch it. They are empty and they are exhausted. They are overwhelmed and they are overburdened. And that's where somebody is right now. Overwhelmed and overburdened, empty and exhausted. And that's exactly where we find Simon in our text. And y'all, to make matters worse, here it is, overwhelmed, overwhelmed and overburdened with grief, not to mention being empty and exhausted. That's what happened to my girl there in the hospital because she had somewhere to go but not enough to get there and something had happened when she was already exhausted and empty. Isn't that just like life that went as soon as we're empty and already exhausted, drained, and in pain? That's when …

… And he saw at the water's edge two boats left there by the fishermen who were washing their nets. He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and he asked to put out a little from the shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat. When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, Simon, put out into the deep water and let down the nets for a catch. Simon answered, oh, master, we've been working hard all night. We haven't caught a thing. but because you say so I will let down the nets. When they had done so they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. So they signaled to the partners in the other boat to come and help them and they came and filled both boats so full they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw this he fell at Jesus's knees and said go away from me Lord I am a sinful man. For he and I'm going to give you six things to write down today. …

They caught a great multitude of what fishes and their what break? Their net break. Today we're talking under the series Lord bless my business. The title today is network. Network. Everybody knows that if you're going to be a successful in business and anything you're doing in your life you have to do somewhat networking. You don't do it by yourself. I think Bishop Jake's teaches that that relationships are the currency of the kingdom so you've got to be doing some networking you have to make sure you have some business cards and you're and you're standing in the right rooms and you're talking with the people who can help you get where you're trying to go but today we want to kind of shift and do a play on that word not just networking …
