Walk It Out Wednesday: Pray, Watch, Build

1:08:20 to say yes to Jesus. I want to pray for you specifically. And here's, for some of you, here's what it looks like. Here's what it feels like. You would consider yourself a Christian for real. Like you, you know, you believe. But. you haven't surrendered.

1:08:48 He's your God, but he's not your Lord. And I don't say it to make you feel bad. Listen, I know all about that. I've been there before. I got to say I embraced the Lord when I was nine years old, and I knew him as God and my Savior, but he wasn't my Lord until almost 20 years after that, not quite, until I was 26. So nine, I got saved. 26 is when I made him my Lord. That's what it is. This is the first point of his invitation. If you're here and either you don't know the Lord at all, or he's been your God, but not your Lord, and you want to make him your Lord, I want you to meet me at this altar. I want to pray for you. God bless you. God bless you. All of us had that moment, I'm telling you. And that's the moment that everything changes. That's the moment that everything changes. it's the moment I promise the moment that everything changes it's a moment that everything changes and I'll tell you right now I'll tell you right now I did that 26 years ago I was at a church big church and I had come to a point in my life where I knew that I was only here by the goodness and the mercy and the grace of the Lord. I knew that. Like there was no, you know, I just looked back over my life and looked at what I had experienced, what I had been through, and God had blessed me in a number of ways. And I felt like in that moment, for me, I felt like if I didn't say yes now, everything I missed was probably headed in my direction. There was a moment, and there was a reason for it. Had I not said yes then, I wouldn't be here.

1:10:32 so God he knows the plans that he has for you he's looking way down the road so the yes is not because God is in need your destiny is in need and I did that 26 years ago I said yes and I surrendered and I really like so I just I surrendered and it was like and here's what you can't get like bogged down with how you're gonna walk it out the same way there's a passage of scripture that talks about the holy spirit and nicodemus is trying to figure out the holy spirit and and jesus like look you can't tell the way the wind blows like so you're not going to really understand that just know it's real that's how it's going to happen the holy spirit is going to empower you to be who you've been trying to be but couldn't be because you weren't yielded to him. That's how it's going to happen.

1:11:28 He's going to do it through you. That's why he says, man, just surrender. Just surrender to me. I got you. I know. I know you don't know how to do it. That's why I saved you. And that's why I gave you my spirit because what you don't know how to do, the spirit's going to do through you. That's how this thing works. None of our own righteousness. What? If it was up to Torei, I'll be in major trouble. But the Spirit, I'll tell you my secret sauce, I learned to yield to the Holy Spirit. That's my secret sauce. Pure heart and a yielding to the Holy Spirit. Those two things. And those things are in your control. What do you mean? You can have a pure heart. The beginning to having a pure heart is desiring a pure heart. If you desire a pure heart, listen, that's agreement. God wants you to have a pure heart. So if you desire to have a pure heart, And see, a lot of, see, I'm going to say this real quick.

1:12:22 And, you know, the enemy is a liar. He's a liar. Because God, God, he looks at the heart, the intention. Lord, I want to be free. I want to be free. He hears all of that. And the enemy says, yeah, you say you want that, but you still do it. And then he attacks you and accuses you and beats you down and perverts God's perspective of you. God says because you desired it because you truly and genuinely desired a pure heart I'm going to give you one I'm going to give you one create within me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me if you're here and you say I want to say yes to the Lord I want you to come meet me here if you're here and you say I want to surrender there's something about it I'm telling you I know you think like and you're watching via live stream get it on this I know you can think like, you know, I'm going to just do what I want to.

1:13:17 No, there's something about the humility. There's something about the humility of coming and saying, you know what? I ain't got it together. And I need to give my life. I need to. He needs to. There's somebody in this room. Right here in this room, I see you. I'm proud of you. Everybody, no matter how good it looks, everybody, everybody did this. You've got to. There's no way around it. We ain't born saved. Or you saved one time and that's it. No, we got to walk through something. And we yield and we surrender. The Bible says like sheep, all have gone astray. one more time and then I have one more invitation if you're here and you're recommitting your life to God I'm gonna tell you right now I can't even imagine I see you and God bless you come on I can't even imagine I can't even imagine navigating these times without a relation with Jesus I see you proud of you I see you I see you I see you I see you I see I can't even imagine I see you my brother I can't even imagine hear me clearly family I know I'm preaching to the choir with a lot of people but hear me and the Bible says heaven rejoices over what's happening here at the altar right now just in case you missed your praise opportunity just in case you missed it This leads into the third point.

1:14:54 I can't imagine, fam. I can't imagine not knowing God's voice. Do we have any knowing books here, like several copies? If we do, just as many as we have to bring them down, if we have any here. I can't imagine. I'm going to step back up here. I can't imagine navigating these times without a close relationship with Jesus. I can't even imagine it. I can't. Now, these times, without the ability to perceive God and his voice and him to tell me, this is not just a time of trouble. It's a time of opportunity. oh god let me just say this i promise this is not gloom and doom in matthew 24 he says yes all these things are going to happen he said don't worry he says in this gospel the kingdom is going to be preached everywhere in other words whoever is aligned with the kingdom is going to experience increase oh you better catch what i just said opportunity and increase if you align your business with kingdom purposes if you align your education and your studies and whatever it is you're building with kingdom the bible says where sin abounds grace abounds all the more and a lot of times we don't understand what grace is grace is divine enablement that means that there's going to be a wind on kingdom things there's going to be a grace on god things. So it's not just about escaping. It's about laying hold in this time. I'm telling you, crazy opportunities. Man, it is so ripe out there for kingdom things. And God's got ideas and he's looking for faithful people who will listen to him and have the faith and go and build what he's telling you to build and it will succeed.

1:17:03 it will succeed. So here's the last point of the invitation. If you're here and you want to develop a greater sensitivity to God's voice, I want you to meet me here at this altar as well because I want to pray for you. I believe we're going to come out of here with another level, I'm telling you, of clarity. and Isaiah, he says, I will whisper in your ear, this is the way, walk ye in it. Man, I wish I had 400 books. I give everybody in here one. I swear I would. I swear I would. Yep. We're going to pray. We're going to pray. And you're going to get it.

You're going to move differently. people of God you're blessed you're blessed a royal priesthood don't get on social media and believe the lie that they are blessed no baby you blessed I love that you got that purple that purple jacket on that's royalty that's royalty that's royalty it's royalty you're blessed yeah you're blessed for real blessed by the best i'm serious a royal priesthood can't nobody touch you can't nobody touch you when god puts his hand on you god puts his light on you his shine on you, his name on you.

1:19:00 Can't nobody or nothing touch you. A royal priesthood is what you're called. A holy nation, his own special treasure. Yeah, whew. I've seen it. Seen it in my own life. God will never let somebody sold out for him fall off. God specializes in making examples out of those who love him and trust him and live for him seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all other things shall be added alright repeat after me, Heavenly Father I thank you so much for your love I feel it Heavenly Father thank you for the words you spoke to me I receive it.

You placed in his body nailed it to the cross and put it to death and just as he was raised up on the third day because I'm in him I'm raised up too above principalities and powers and everything that's against me I'm seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus and therefore the enemy can't touch me no weapon formed against me can prosper and since God is for me no one or no thing can be against me now Holy Spirit I yield to you fill me to the overflow make me sensitive to your voice unlike ever before Lord I yield you're not just my God you're my guide you're my redeemer you order my steps and I follow.

1:24:00 my voice so as you go as you move and then you're going to trust it more because i'm going to bless you as you go i'm going to give you victory as you go and don't forget to to not only ask but seek and not that's going to be the rhythm ask and then start moving as i tell you to move and then if you come to a door and it's closed be suspicious of that closed door and just start knocking on it like you know that something on the other side of that door has your name on it and keep on knocking until it opens stay there be like that that woman who stayed there and because She basically bothered Jesus to the point that he opened the door.

1:24:43 I seal this, and God, may the fruit of this not be that we're just so spiritual, but may the fruit of it be that we would build like Noah, that we would build with specificity, with clarity, with precision, that it would not simply be to the saving of us, but to the saving of our families, our communities, our cities, our regions, and even nations.
