… I give to you, I want you to give to others. The Bible says this in Matthew 10, verse eight. You have been treated generously by God. so live generously give as freely as you have received now this is interesting because scientific studies have also shown that the more generous you are the less fearful you are the more giving you are the more at peace you are the more confident you are the less anxious the less fearful you are and the Bible actually confirms this that generosity is another antidote to fear because you get generosity, you get the focus off yourself and on helping other people. … is at hand heal the sick raise the dead cleanse the lepers Cast out demons. Freely you received. Freely give. I came across this man. His name is John Lennox. John Lennox is a professor of mathematics. He was emeritus at Oxford. He was also a philosopher of science and a Catholic apologist. And he's from Northern Ireland. He was telling the story of meeting a man who had suffered in the Soviet gulags for seven years. Here's what he said. Just pretend I have an Irish accent because it sounds even cooler. He says, because he uses the word like chap. So he says, I remember one chap who really in a sense humiliated me. John Lennox at this point is telling the story. …

… what does that mean all right the original 11 what did jesus teach them Matthew 10 verse 8 Heal the sick He didn't say pray for the sick He said cleanse lepers That which defiles and separates People from one another raise the dead cast out demons every single believer has been given an authority to carry out this mission to leave it for those who stand behind pulpits is actually to weaken the actual effect of the pulpit it's in our corporate yes that everything grows together And he says, teach them to observe. So what does that mean? That means the original 11 teaches the next generation. That generation teaches the next. The next teaches the next. The standard is supposed to be maintained. He was, his church, they were building a new sanctuary. and he wanted to be involved somehow. …
