The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their father. Whoever has ears, let them hear. We read this, and we are so quick to say, that's right. Those evil people, those sinners, those terrible Democrats, Republicans, Independents… Whatever category you wanted to put right there, it exposed something about your heart. Whatever you wanted to see the weeds as tells me something about what you see in the mirror. …

… But the tares are the sons of the wicked one. The enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age. And the reapers are the angels. Therefore, as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. He's saying this is how the world ends, OK? The Son of Man will send out his angels. They will gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, all those who practice lawlessness, all those basically who do whatever they want to do, not what God has said to do, right? To say, who are you to tell me how to live, right? And he will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth, and the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear. And God, I pray we would have ears to hear. You speaking through your word to change our lives. …
