The Coming Of The King – Part 2
Jack Hibbs, 2026-05-27

… And immediately he will send them. All this was done that it might be fulfilled, which is spoken by the prophet saying, tell the daughter of Zion, behold, your king is coming to you lowly and sitting on a colt, a donkey, a colt, the foal of a donkey. You guys, that's New Testament quoting Old Testament to confirm this was his first coming. So when somebody says, let's talk about the coming of Christ, which one? First coming or the second coming? Because listen, everything that was prophesied in the Bible about his first coming, He fulfilled it. Hang on, because I love saying what I'm about to say. I really like just digging it in, kind of turning the knife. Every prophecy in the Old Testament that was written about his first coming, before Jesus died on that cross, he fulfilled them. What does this mean? Not 97%. What's like this Nostradamus crazy stuff you hear? You know, it's December 31st, and we're going to review Nostradamus' prophecies of the future. …

Call on the Name of the Lord #6 | “From King to Worm”
Scott Black Johnston, 2026-03-30 · Scripture reading

… If anyone says anything to you, just say this, the Lord needs them, and he will send them immediately. This took place to fulfill what had been spoken through the prophet. Tell the daughter of Zion, look, your king is coming to you, humble and mounted on a donkey and on a colt, the foal of a donkey. The disciples went and did as Jesus had directed them. They brought the donkey and the colt and put their cloaks on them, and he sat on them. A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, and others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. The crowds that went ahead of him and that followed were shouting, Hosanna to the son of David. Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest heaven. When he entered Jerusalem, the whole city was in turmoil, asking, who is this? The crowds were saying, this is the prophet Jesus from Nazareth in Galilee. …

Your Only Hope
Jack Hibbs, 2026-03-29

And I say this just for authenticity's sake. Matthew chapter 21, verses 1 to 17. Matthew covers this from his eyes, Matthew. And then Mark's gospel, Mark 11, verses 1 through 11. Mark sees it and records it through his eyes. And then Dr. Luke, medical doctor, the gospel of Luke. Luke from chapter 19, verses 29 onward, he records it. And that's the chapter or the book I've selected for today. And then, of course, John chapter 12, verses 12 to 19. John records it from his eyes. Why is this important? I don't want to get too much into this, except that the Bible says that before two or three witnesses, the truth shall be established. Which, by the way, if you're an attorney, or maybe you're a judge, or maybe you're involved in law, did you know that our jurisprudence of the United States of America is founded upon the biblical requirement of you not being able to be convicted without multiple witnesses? Did you know our founding fathers got that from the scriptures? …

… And in Matthew's gospel in particular, he says there's a donkey and then a colt, the foal of a donkey. So a foal is four years or younger. So there's a donkey and the colt here in Matthew's gospel because of the way he's reading the text. So let me take you back 1,600 years before the birth of Jesus, all right? 1,600 BC, and it could be 1,500. We're not exactly sure the date. But Jacob, whose name was also Israel, Jacob is about to die. And Jacob invites his sons to come before him. And he's going to pronounce a blessing. This is the final blessing he's going to give to his kids. Yesterday morning, I was with one of our members who just passed away this afternoon, and I was at Hospice House. And three of his kids were there. They'd all come into town, and they spent the last week with him, or the last five or six days with him, and described how lovely and meaningful it was to have that last few days with their dad, and how, you know, until yesterday, before yesterday, he was able to talk to them and give his blessings to them, and there was just something meaningful about that. …

The Destiny of a Donkey
John K. Jenkins Sr., 2025-05-30 · Scripture reading

… and immediately he will send them. All this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet saying, tell the daughter of Zion, behold, your king is coming to you lowly and sitting on a donkey, a colt, the foil of a donkey. So the disciples went and did as Jesus commanded them. They brought the donkey and the colt, laid their clothes on them and set him on them. And a very great multitude spread their clothes on the road. Others cut down branches from the trees and spread them on the road. Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out saying, Hosanna to the son of David. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest. And when he had come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved saying, who is this? So the multitude said, this is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee. Y'all see that? I want to talk about the destiny of a donkey. …
