1Then the LORD said to Moses,Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,2“Make two trumpets of hammered silver to be used for calling the congregation and for having the camps set out.“Make two trumpets of silver. You shall make them of beaten work. You shall use them for the calling of the congregation and for the journeying of the camps.Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.Make thee two trumpets of silver; of beaten work shalt thou make them: and thou shalt use them for the calling of the congregation, and for the journeying of the camps.3When both are sounded, the whole congregation is to assemble before you at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. When they blow them, all the congregation shall gather themselves to you at the door of the Tent of Meeting. And when they shall blow with them, all the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And when they shall blow them, all the congregation shall gather themselves unto thee at the door of the tent of meeting.4But if only one is sounded, then the leaders, the heads of the clans of Israel, are to gather before you.If they blow just one, then the princes, the heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves to you.And if they blow but with one trumpet, then the princes, which are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee. And if they blow but one, then the princes, the heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee.5When you sound short blasts, the camps that lie on the east side are to set out. When you blow an alarm, the camps that lie on the east side shall go forward. When ye blow an alarm, then the camps that lie on the east parts shall go forward. And when ye blow an alarm, the camps that lie on the east side shall take their journey.6When you sound the short blasts a second time, the camps that lie on the south side are to set out. The blasts are to signal them to set out. When you blow an alarm the second time, the camps that lie on the south side shall go forward. They shall blow an alarm for their journeys. When ye blow an alarm the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall take their journey: they shall blow an alarm for their journeys. And when ye blow an alarm the second time, the camps that lie on the south side shall take their journey: they shall blow an alarm for their journeys.7To convene the assembly, you are to sound long blasts, not short ones. But when the assembly is to be gathered together, you shall blow, but you shall not sound an alarm. But when the congregation is to be gathered together, ye shall blow, but ye shall not sound an alarm. But when the assembly is to be gathered together, ye shall blow, but ye shall not sound an alarm.8The sons of Aaron, the priests, are to sound the trumpets. This shall be a permanent statute for you and the generations to come.“The sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets. This shall be to you for a statute forever throughout your generations. And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an ordinance for ever throughout your generations. And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets; and they shall be to you for a statute for ever throughout your generations.9When you enter into battle in your land against an adversary who attacks you, sound short blasts on the trumpets, and you will be remembered before the LORD your God and saved from your enemies. When you go to war in your land against the adversary who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets. Then you will be remembered before Yahweh your God, and you will be saved from your enemies. And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the Lord your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies. And when ye go to war in your land against the adversary that oppresseth you, then ye shall sound an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before Jehovah your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.10And on your joyous occasions, your appointed feasts, and the beginning of each month, you are to blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and peace offerings to serve as a reminder for you before your God. I am the LORD your God.”“Also in the day of your gladness, and in your set feasts, and in the beginnings of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they shall be to you for a memorial before your God. I am Yahweh your God.”Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the Lord your God.Also in the day of your gladness, and in your set feasts, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow the trumpets over your burnt-offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace-offerings; and they shall be to you for a memorial before your God: I am Jehovah your God.11On the twentieth day of the second month of the second year, the cloud was lifted from above the tabernacle of the Testimony,In the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle of the covenant. And it came to pass on the twentieth day of the second month, in the second year, that the cloud was taken up from off the tabernacle of the testimony. And it came to pass in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, that the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle of the testimony.12and the Israelites set out from the Wilderness of Sinai, traveling from place to place until the cloud settled in the Wilderness of Paran. The children of Israel went forward on their journeys out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud stayed in the wilderness of Paran. And the children of Israel took their journeys out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Paran. And the children of Israel set forward according to their journeys out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud abode in the wilderness of Paran.13They set out this first time according to the LORD’s command through Moses. They first went forward according to the commandment of Yahweh by Moses. And they first took their journey according to the commandment of the Lord by the hand of Moses. And they first took their journey according to the commandment of Jehovah by Moses.14First, the divisions of the camp of Judah set out under their standard, with Nahshon son of Amminadab in command.First, the standard of the camp of the children of Judah went forward according to their armies.
