1Then Moses said to the heads of the tribes of Israel, “This is what the LORD has commanded:Moses spoke to the heads of the tribes of the children of Israel, saying, “This is the thing which Yahweh has commanded. And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded. And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which Jehovah hath commanded.2If a man makes a vow to the LORD or swears an oath to obligate himself by a pledge, he must not break his word; he must do everything he has promised. When a man vows a vow to Yahweh, or swears an oath to bind his soul with a bond, he shall not break his word. He shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth. If a man vow a vow unto the Lord, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth. When a man voweth a vow unto Jehovah, or sweareth an oath to bind his soul with a bond, he shall not break his word; he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.3And if a woman in her father’s house during her youth makes a vow to the LORD or obligates herself by a pledge,“Also, when a woman vows a vow to Yahweh and binds herself by a pledge, being in her father’s house, in her youth,If a woman also vow a vow unto the Lord, and bind herself by a bond, being in her father’s house in her youth; Also when a woman voweth a vow unto Jehovah, and bindeth herself by a bond, being in her father’s house, in her youth,4and her father hears about her vow or pledge but says nothing to her, then all the vows or pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand.and her father hears her vow and her pledge with which she has bound her soul, and her father says nothing to her, then all her vows shall stand, and every pledge with which she has bound her soul shall stand. And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.and her father heareth her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father holdeth his peace at her; then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.5But if her father prohibits her on the day he hears about it, then none of the vows or pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand. The LORD will absolve her because her father has prohibited her.But if her father forbids her in the day that he hears, none of her vows or of her pledges with which she has bound her soul, shall stand. Yahweh will forgive her, because her father has forbidden her.But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the Lord shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her.But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth, none of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and Jehovah will forgive her, because her father disallowed her.6If a woman marries while under a vow or rash promise by which she has bound herself,“If she has a husband, while her vows are on her, or the rash utterance of her lips with which she has bound her soul,And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul; And if she be married to a husband, while her vows are upon her, or the rash utterance of her lips, wherewith she hath bound her soul,7and her husband hears of it but says nothing to her on that day, then the vows or pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand.and her husband hears it, and says nothing to her in the day that he hears it; then her vows shall stand, and her pledges with which she has bound her soul shall stand. And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her in the day that he heard it: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.and her husband hear it, and hold his peace at her in the day that he heareth it; then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.8But if her husband prohibits her when he hears of it, he nullifies the vow that binds her or the rash promise she has made, and the LORD will absolve her.But if her husband forbids her in the day that he hears it, then he makes void her vow which is on her and the rash utterance of her lips, with which she has bound her soul. Yahweh will forgive her.But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the Lord shall forgive her.But if her husband disallow her in the day that he heareth it, then he shall make void her vow which is upon her, and the rash utterance of her lips, wherewith she hath bound her soul: and Jehovah will forgive her.9Every vow a widow or divorced woman pledges to fulfill is binding on her.“But the vow of a widow, or of her who is divorced, everything with which she has bound her soul shall stand against her.But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her.But the vow of a widow, or of her that is divorced, even everything wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand against her.10If a woman in her husband’s house has made a vow or put herself under an obligation with an oath,“If she vowed in her husband’s house or bound her soul by a bond with an oath,And if she vowed in her husband’s house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath; And if she vowed in her husband’s house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath,11and her husband hears of it but says nothing to her and does not prohibit her, then all the vows or pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand.and her husband heard it, and held his peace at her and didn’t disallow her, then all her vows shall stand, and every pledge with which she bound her soul shall stand. And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.and her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not; then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.12But if her husband nullifies them on the day he hears of them, then nothing that came from her lips, whether her vows or pledges, shall stand. Her husband has nullified them, and the LORD will absolve her.But if her husband made them null and void in the day that he heard them, then whatever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand. Her husband has made them void. Yahweh will forgive her.But if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heard them; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the Lord shall forgive her.But if her husband made them null and void in the day that he heard them, then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and Jehovah will forgive her.13Her husband may confirm or nullify any vow or any sworn pledge to deny herself.Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.14But if her husband says nothing to her from day to day, then he confirms all the vows and pledges that bind her. He has confirmed them, because he said nothing to her on the day he heard about them. But if her husband says nothing to her from day to day, then he establishes all her vows or all her pledges which are on her. He has established them, because he said nothing to her in the day that he heard them. But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them. But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day, then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he hath established them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them.15But if he nullifies them after he hears of them, then he will bear her iniquity.”But if he makes them null and void after he has heard them, then he shall bear her iniquity.”But if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard them; then he shall bear her iniquity. But if he shall make them null and void after that he hath heard them, then he shall bear her iniquity.16These are the statutes that the LORD commanded Moses concerning the relationship between a man and his wife, and between a father and a young daughter still in his home. These are the statutes which Yahweh commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between a father and his daughter, being in her youth, in her father’s house. These are the statutes, which the Lord commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father’s house. These are the statutes, which Jehovah commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between a father and his daughter, being in her youth, in her father’s house.
