Womanhood and The Wisdom of God

… husband in all the right ways. Her words are kind, her works are admirable, her dress is tasteful, her demeanor delightful. Delightful in such a way. Think Proverbs 5 18. Her husband delights in the wife of his youth. Attractive in all the right ways. Leading to the last letter, so N. She is a neighbor to the needy. A neighbor to the needy. Verse 20. Amidst all of her oversight in her home, her industry innovation, she is not selfish. She's not hoarding what she has. She opens her hand to the poor and reaches out her hands to the needy. This Christ-like woman gives generously and serves sacrificially. She gives generously from what she has made. I love the picture here. It's not the poor coming to her even. It's her going to the poor. She doesn't wait for opportunities to help those in need. She creates opportunity to help those in need. And think of all she teaches her children and her husband for that matter in the process. She gives generously and serves sacrificially. …

… in our life that we all desire Solomon gave us the prescription for that kind of fulfillment in Proverbs 5 verses 18 to 21 instead of looking outside of marriage for that fulfillment look for it within the marriage relationship that God has created. Solomon said it this way in Proverbs 5 verse 18. Let your fountain be blessed and rejoice in the wife of your youth. As a loving hind and a graceful doe, let her breast satisfy you at all times. Be exhilarated always with her love. For why should you, my son, be exhilarated with an adulteress and embrace the bosom of a foreigner. For the ways of a man are before the eyes of the Lord, and he watches over all of his paths. Perhaps that last sentence is the strongest argument for abstaining from sexual immorality. for some of you right now, some of you watching, listening to this message, you're engaged in sexual immorality. You think nobody knows what you're up to. That may or may not be the truth. I think of a church leader I know who had been carrying on an affair for a year. He thought nobody knew. What he didn't know was the elders of his church had hired a private investigator. They were following him. They were camped outside of the home of the woman he was carrying on with. And on a day that began like any other day in his work career, he was called in and summarily dismissed from his position. …

This Is My Vow | Chad Veach
Chad Veach, 2026-03-02

… Proverbs chapter five, put it on the screen. May your fountain be blessed. May you rejoice in the wife of your youth. A loving doe, a graceful deer. May her breasts satisfy you always. May you ever be intoxicated with her love. Why, my son, be intoxicated with another man's wife? Why embrace the bosom of a wayward woman? Woo! That's just good reading right there. Some of y'all read the screen like, I'm reading the Bible to you today. You know what it just said? Emphasis on the word satisfied. May you be satisfied in your marriage. If you're not satisfied, we gotta fix some things. We got to get God back to the center. We got to forgive what's been broken. We got to come together in gratitude. We got to speak life over one another. Why? Because I should be satisfied and fulfilled in the marriage that God gave me. I'm blessed. I'm favored. I'm married. Come on, clap and give him a praise. Come on, just praise himself, babe. …

… Look in chapter 5 and verse 18. Let thy fountain be blessed and rejoice with the wife of thy youth. What is God's best? God's best is one man for one woman till death do them part. I rejoice with the God of my youth. I love my wife. I thank God for my darling wife. I would not trade our Christian home for anything on earth. Sometimes I teasingly say to Joyce, if you ever leave me, I'm going with you. My dear friend, listen. She's mine. She's mine to keep and I'm hers to keep. What a lasting marriage the Bible says here. Let thy fountain be blessed and rejoice with the wife of thy youth. The same wife that you had as a young man. Not only is it a lasting marriage, God's best intention is a loving marriage. Look in verse 19. Let her be as the loving hind in pleasant row. Let her breast satisfy thee at all times and be thou ravished always with her love. …
