Psalms 131

1A song of ascents. Of David. My heart is not proud, O LORD, my eyes are not haughty. I do not aspire to great things or matters too lofty for me.A Song of Ascents. By David. Yahweh, my heart isn’t arrogant, nor my eyes lofty; nor do I concern myself with great matters, or things too wonderful for me.A Song of degrees of David. Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.A Song of Ascents; of David. Jehovah, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty; Neither do I exercise myself in great matters, Or in things too wonderful for me. 2Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me.Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me.Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child with his mother, Like a weaned child is my soul within me. 3O Israel, put your hope in the LORD, both now and forevermore.Israel, hope in Yahweh, from this time forward and forever more.Let Israel hope in the Lord from henceforth and for ever.O Israel, hope in Jehovah From this time forth and for evermore.
