I will extol thee, O Jehovah; for thou hast raised me up, And hast not made my foes to rejoice over me. 2O LORD my God, I cried to You for help, and You healed me.Yahweh my God, I cried to you, and you have healed me.O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.O Jehovah my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me. 3O LORD, You pulled me up from Sheol; You spared me from descending into the Pit.Yahweh, you have brought up my soul from Sheol. You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.O Lord, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.O Jehovah, thou hast brought up my soul from Sheol; Thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. 4Sing to the LORD, O you His saints, and praise His holy name.Sing praise to Yahweh, you saints of his. Give thanks to his holy name.Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.Sing praise unto Jehovah, O ye saints of his, And give thanks to his holy memorial name. 5For His anger is fleeting, but His favor lasts a lifetime. Weeping may stay the night, but joy comes in the morning. For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning. For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. For his anger is but for a moment; His favor is for a life-time: Weeping may tarry for the night, But joy cometh in the morning. 6In prosperity I said, “I will never be shaken.”As for me, I said in my prosperity, “I shall never be moved.”And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved. As for me, I said in my prosperity, I shall never be moved. 7O LORD, You favored me; You made my mountain stand strong. When You hid Your face, I was dismayed. You, Yahweh, when you favored me, made my mountain stand strong; but when you hid your face, I was troubled.Lord, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.Thou, Jehovah, of thy favor hadst made my mountain to stand strong: Thou didst hide thy face; I was troubled. 8To You, O LORD, I called, and I begged my Lord for mercy:I cried to you, Yahweh. I made supplication to the Lord:I cried to thee, O Lord; and unto the Lord I made supplication.I cried to thee, O Jehovah; And unto Jehovah I made supplication: 9“What gain is there in my bloodshed, in my descent to the Pit? Will the dust praise You? Will it proclaim Your faithfulness?“What profit is there in my destruction, if I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise you? Shall it declare your truth? What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth? What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth? 10Hear me, O LORD, and have mercy; O LORD, be my helper.”Hear, Yahweh, and have mercy on me. Yahweh, be my helper.”Hear, O Lord, and have mercy upon me: Lord, be thou my helper.Hear, O Jehovah, and have mercy upon me: Jehovah, be thou my helper. 11You turned my mourning into dancing; You peeled off my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,You have turned my mourning into dancing for me. You have removed my sackcloth, and clothed me with gladness,Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing; Thou hast loosed my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; 12that my heart may sing Your praises and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks forever.to the end that my heart may sing praise to you, and not be silent. Yahweh my God, I will give thanks to you forever! To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Jehovah my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.
