1For the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. Blessed is the one who cares for the poor; the LORD will deliver him in the day of trouble. For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David. Blessed is he who considers the poor. Yahweh will deliver him in the day of evil.To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. Blessed is he that considereth the poor: Jehovah will deliver him in the day of evil.2The LORD will protect and preserve him; He will bless him in the land and refuse to give him over to the will of his foes.Yahweh will preserve him, and keep him alive. He shall be blessed on the earth, and he will not surrender him to the will of his enemies. The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.Jehovah will preserve him, and keep him alive, And he shall be blessed upon the earth; And deliver not thou him unto the will of his enemies.3The LORD will sustain him on his bed of illness and restore him from his bed of sickness.Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness. The Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.Jehovah will support him upon the couch of languishing: Thou makest all his bed in his sickness.4I said, “O LORD, be gracious to me; heal me, for I have sinned against You.”I said, “Yahweh, have mercy on me! Heal me, for I have sinned against you.”I said, Lord, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.I said, O Jehovah, have mercy upon me: Heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.5My enemies say with malice: “When will he die and be forgotten?”My enemies speak evil against me: “When will he die, and his name perish?”Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?Mine enemies speak evil against me, saying, When will he die, and his name perish?6My visitor speaks falsehood; he gathers slander in his heart; he goes out and spreads it abroad. If he comes to see me, he speaks falsehood. His heart gathers iniquity to itself. When he goes abroad, he tells it.And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.And if he come to see me, he speaketh falsehood; His heart gathereth iniquity to itself: When he goeth abroad, he telleth it.7All who hate me whisper against me; they imagine the worst for me:All who hate me whisper together against me. They imagine the worst for me.All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt. All that hate me whisper together against me; Against me do they devise my hurt.8“A vile disease has been poured into him; he will never get up from where he lies!”“An evil disease”, they say, “has afflicted him. Now that he lies he shall rise up no more.”An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him; And now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.9Even my close friend whom I trusted, the one who shared my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.Yes, my own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, who ate bread with me, has lifted up his heel against me.Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, Who did eat of my bread, Hath lifted up his heel against me.10But You, O LORD, be gracious to me and raise me up, that I may repay them. But you, Yahweh, have mercy on me, and raise me up, that I may repay them. But thou, O Lord, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them. But thou, O Jehovah, have mercy upon me, and raise me up, That I may requite them.11By this I know that You delight in me, for my enemy does not triumph over me.By this I know that you delight in me, because my enemy doesn’t triumph over me.By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.By this I know that thou delightest in me, Because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.12In my integrity You uphold me and set me in Your presence forever. As for me, you uphold me in my integrity, and set me in your presence forever. And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever. And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, And settest me before thy face for ever.13Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Amen and Amen.Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, from everlasting and to everlasting! Amen and amen.Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.Blessed be Jehovah, the God of Israel, From everlasting and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.
