The Mighty One, God, Yahweh, speaks, and calls the earth from sunrise to sunset.A Psalm of Asaph. The mighty God, even the Lord, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.A Psalm of Asaph. The Mighty One, God, Jehovah, hath spoken, And called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof. 2From Zion, perfect in beauty, God shines forth.Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines out.Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined forth. 3Our God approaches and will not be silent! Consuming fire precedes Him, and a tempest rages around Him.Our God comes, and does not keep silent. A fire devours before him. It is very stormy around him.Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.Our God cometh, and doth not keep silence: A fire devoureth before him, And it is very tempestuous round about him. 4He summons the heavens above, and the earth, that He may judge His people:He calls to the heavens above, to the earth, that he may judge his people:He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people. He calleth to the heavens above, And to the earth, that he may judge his people: 5“Gather to Me My saints, who made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.”“Gather my saints together to me, those who have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.”Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.Gather my saints together unto me, Those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. 6And the heavens proclaim His righteousness, for God Himself is Judge. SelahThe heavens shall declare his righteousness, for God himself is judge. Selah. And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah. And the heavens shall declare his righteousness; For God is judge himself. [Selah 7“Hear, O My people, and I will speak, O Israel, and I will testify against you: I am God, your God.“Hear, my people, and I will speak. Israel, I will testify against you. I am God, your God.Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify unto thee: I am God, even thy God. 8I do not rebuke you for your sacrifices, and your burnt offerings are ever before Me.I don’t rebuke you for your sacrifices. Your burnt offerings are continually before me.I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices; And thy burnt-offerings are continually before me. 9I have no need for a bull from your stall or goats from your pens,I have no need for a bull from your stall, nor male goats from your pens.I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.I will take no bullock out of thy house, Nor he-goats out of thy folds. 10for every beast of the forest is Mine—the cattle on a thousand hills. For every animal of the forest is mine, and the livestock on a thousand hills. For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. For every beast of the forest is mine, And the cattle upon a thousand hills. 11I know every bird in the mountains, and the creatures of the field are Mine.I know all the birds of the mountains. The wild animals of the field are mine.I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.I know all the birds of the mountains; And the wild beasts of the field are mine. 12If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world is Mine, and the fullness thereof. If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world is mine, and all that is in it.If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof. If I were hungry, I would not tell thee; For the world is mine, and the fulness thereof. 13Do I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats? Will I eat the meat of bulls, or drink the blood of goats? Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats? Will I eat the flesh of bulls, Or drink the blood of goats? 14Sacrifice a thank offering to God, and fulfill your vows to the Most High.Offer to God the sacrifice of thanksgiving. Pay your vows to the Most High.Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:Offer unto God the sacrifice of thanksgiving; And pay thy vows unto the Most High; 15Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor Me.”Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. 16To the wicked, however, God says, “What right have you to recite My statutes and to bear My covenant on your lips? But to the wicked God says, “What right do you have to declare my statutes, that you have taken my covenant on your lips,But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth? But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, And that thou hast taken my covenant in thy mouth, 17For you hate My instruction and cast My words behind you.since you hate instruction, and throw my words behind you?Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.Seeing that thou hatest instruction, And castest my words behind thee? 18When you see a thief, you befriend him, and throw in your lot with adulterers. When you saw a thief, you consented with him, and have participated with adulterers. When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers. When thou sawest a thief, thou consentedst with him, And hast been partaker with adulterers. 19You unleash your mouth for evil and harness your tongue to deceit.“You give your mouth to evil. Your tongue frames deceit.Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.Thou givest thy mouth to evil, And thy tongue frameth deceit. 20You sit and malign your brother; you slander your own mother’s son.You sit and speak against your brother. You slander your own mother’s son.Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother’s son.Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; Thou slanderest thine own mother’s son. 21You have done these things, and I kept silent; you thought I was just like you. But now I rebuke you and accuse you to your face. You have done these things, and I kept silent. You thought that I was just like you. I will rebuke you, and accuse you in front of your eyes. These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes. These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; Thou thoughtest that I was altogether such a one as thyself: But I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes. 22Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you to pieces, with no one to rescue you:“Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you into pieces, and there be no one to deliver. Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver. Now consider this, ye that forget God, Lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver: 23He who sacrifices a thank offering honors Me, and to him who rightly orders his way, I will show the salvation of God.”Whoever offers the sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifies me, and prepares his way so that I will show God’s salvation to him.”Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.Whoso offereth the sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifieth me; And to him that ordereth his way aright Will I show the salvation of God.
