… so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? That it's almost like at the end of day one, God says, okay, same place, same time. Yes, God will see you there. Was it an appointment? Was it a place and a time? As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? My tears have been my food day and night, while they say to me all the day long, Where is your God? These things I remember as I pour out my soul, how I would go with a throng and lead them in procession to the house of God with glad shouts and songs of praise, a multitude-keeping festival. I just want to still be the person who says, when can I get to God? Not just, when can I book into that restaurant? When can we get that trip to Italy? When can we make it down to 30A? When can we get into the game? But I want to have in my heart that desire that says, when can I get to God? Because my soul is thirsty for God. …
… I want kvad. I want glory. I want glory. I want glory. I want glory. I want glory. This is what he's longing for. David said, my soul thirsts for God. My soul is thirsting for God, for the living God. I'm thirsting for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? I am thirsty for God. Is there anybody in here that's willing to admit I'm thirsting for God? Have you ever been drinking a whole lot of stuff, but you really needed water? And all that sweet stuff and all that Kool-Aid and all them Pepsis and all them Coke. When you really get thirsty, there is a thirst that only water can quench. Jesus said, if you knew who I was, you would be asking me for water. I'm the thirst quencher. I will put it out. I will put it out. I will put it out.
