… that I might feed your sons and daughters. And may the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight. I thank you for not only us coming in, but how we're going to leave out. In Jesus' name, amen. Amen. Do me a favor. Give God a shout. Greet somebody as you take your seat in God's house. Hallelujah. Let's go to work, baby. I want to, I want to, yes, sir, I want to continue with something that we started. I was going to say Wednesday night, but Wednesday night was a continuum of the things that have been happening in our movement and our midst really since we concluded 30 years of ministry. Yeah. Because it became emphatically clear that we had stepped into another era, another wave of grace and glory for our church. and it became also clear, and I gathered many of our ministers and prophetic people together, what also became clear is that we would need to steward such a move. It's one thing to have a move of God. It's another thing to steward a move of God. Are you tracking with me? And so when God graces you with the glory encounter, when he graces you with the glory experience, when he graces you with an unusual measure of his spirit, then it is incumbent upon us to not think it common, but to begin to pray and stir things up so that all that God watched has sent that glory for …

I Need a Change of Scenery
Jamal Bryant, 2026-06-29

you may be seated in the presence of the Lord. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight. Oh Lord, you are my strength and you are my redeemer. I need a change of scenery. How many of y'all feel that for yourselves? I need... My wife, Dr. Carrie, and I have two different writing styles. We have two different writing styles. When I was a student at Morehouse, my mother sent me an article on how listening to classical music helps you to study because it boosts your memory, sparks creativity, reduces stress. So from that time to this, I go in my office, I shut the door, turn on classical music, and I'll sit there, wrestle with God until I get the full revelation of what he's trying to say. Dr. Carey, my wife, on the other hand, will leave the house drive to a park and write in her car. Even if I ain't home, so it ain't me. …

… You are into us beyond what we would even fathom. And therefore, may the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight. God, I'm yours. And I thank you for the spirit of wisdom and revelation and insight and prophecy and knowledge and accuracy that you might build your children today. Have your way. Do a great work in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. God bless you. God keep you as my prayer. Last week, we started our conversation by me transparently acknowledging that I am not a subject matter expert on the subject of the soul. I would never purport myself to be that, but that I am a journeymate with you trying to figure this thing called life out. No one but God has all the answers. And that's why it is critical, it's important that we have a relationship with God, lean on God, depend on God, trust God, and walk with God because we will learn as we go. But it was very, very clear to me that God was calling our attention to a part of us that is often neglected, and that part of us is our soul. We talked about how the other aspects of us, our mind, our body, even our spirit, is a bit more accessible and easy to recognize and to identify, and therefore gets a response from us, gets attention from us, because it is ever-present with us. We have a consciousness of mind, a consciousness of our bodies, obviously, and even a consciousness that we are spirit …

Call on the Name of the Lord #3 | “My Rock”
Scott Black Johnston, 2026-03-08

… the notion that God is a rock. Listen again to Psalm 19, verse 14. Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. This is the word of God for you, the people of God. Thanks be to God. Back in the first century, a fellow by the name of Philo of Alexandria, a Jewish philosopher and theologian, described the hurdles faced by humans who risk opening their mouths and speaking a name for God. no one name philo argued can fully capture the essence of god you heard that actually in our opening hymn today no solitary name can adequately answer the question who is god there's no label out there that plums the depth and the breadth of the divine We have to acknowledge, says Philo, that it's absurd to try and name God. It's an impossible exercise. We, finite beings that we are, will never get it right. Philo's old school caution makes sense. …

God, I thank you for wisdom, revelation, insight, knowledge, prophecy, and all of heaven's resources to help to communicate this word in a way, God, that will be prophetic and divinely prolific to the effect that there would be a stirring in the hearts and the minds of your sons and daughters, that the gift of God would be stirred up, and that there would be an activation that would bring about an alignment that will produce glory in their lives, through their lives, and throughout all the earth as a result. Hallelujah. Last week, we began our conversation by speaking to the fact that we're in a season of showdowns. and we talked about what that meant and we aligned it with Daniel and one of the things that he said in Daniel chapter 11 and 32 which speaks to what will happen in the end times and it talks about how those who know their God are going to be strong and they're going to carry out they're going to do great exploits so one of the marks and the signs of people who truly know their God in these end times is that they're going to be strong and they're going to accomplish …

Hearers and Doers (James 1:19-25)
John MacArthur, 2023-08-20

… It comes when you humble yourself before the Word of God. The end of Psalm 19, let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my rock and my Redeemer. What words and what meditation are acceptable? we just read in Joshua 1.8, meditation on the Scripture. Scripture should dominate our thoughts, our hearts, our actions. And that leads me to the fourth simple principle. You have to receive the Word with submission and purity and humility, and then obedience. And And he spends a little time on this, starting in verse 22. Prove yourselves doers. This is where obedience comes in and the action starts. And not merely hearers who delude themselves. It's not enough to hear. It's not enough to take a taste of a sermon or a Bible study, or even the reading of the Bible. It's not enough. If that's all there is on your part, then you have been deluded. You are deceived. We have to take the Word and put it to work. Prove yourselves doers of the Word, and not merely hearers. …

… down. Psalm 1 verses 1 and 2, I talked about that. Psalm 19, 14, let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Thy sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. Psalm 104 and verse 34, my meditation of Him shall be sweet. I will be glad in the Lord. Psalm 119 verse 15, I in thy precepts and have respect unto thy ways. Do you know what's wrong with most of us? We don't lie down in the green grass and meditate. Even those of us who study the Word of God, how much time do we take to really, really digest and assimilate what God has given us? I mean most of us think we've done God a wild favor if we get to church on Sunday, right? And if we can halfway understand what the pastor is saying, fine. When you get home, do you really meditate on what you've heard? When you study God's Word in the morning, do you really have a quiet time? Do you keep a spiritual journal? Do you write down the thoughts that God gives you? Did you know that many of the things that I preach to you are things that God gives me after I've read the Word of God and sit back and think about it. You say, how do people know what's in the Word of God? Where do you get that? Well, one way to get it is to sit back and chew the cut. …
